The local picture
Telford is the one place round here with genuinely predictable housing.
Most of Telford was built from the 1960s onwards, and that is unusual for this part of the country. Whole estates went up at once, to the same specification, with the same pipework, the same wiring and the same flat-roofed extensions.
For a trade business that is a gift. You can say, accurately and specifically, what tends to go wrong in a house of that age and type — and a homeowner reading it recognises their own house immediately. That is far more persuasive than any amount of writing about quality and reliability.
Then there are the old towns underneath. Wellington, Madeley, Dawley, Oakengates, Ironbridge and Shifnal all predate Telford and none of them think of themselves as part of it. Newport is separate again. People search by those names, not by "Telford", which is exactly the argument for a page each.
Worth being straight about one thing: Telford is in Shropshire, not the West Midlands, and it is the furthest edge of the patch. If you are based there, that is fine. If you are based in Wolverhampton and thinking of covering it, the site should be honest about travel rather than collecting enquiries you will end up turning down.
