Terms of supply

These are the terms a website is built and looked after under. They are written to be read rather than to be impenetrable, and there is nothing in them that is not also said plainly on the rest of the site.

What it costs
- £199 one-off to build the site, payable when you go ahead.
- £49 a month afterwards, starting the month it goes live, collected by Direct Debit.
- No VAT is added. GrowthFrame is not VAT registered, so £199 is £199 and £49 is £49. If that changes you will be told before it affects you.
What the £199 covers
A complete website built around your trade and your service area: the pages written for you, a page for each service and each town you cover, your photographs optimised for the web, the enquiry form with its photo attachment and automatic reply, and your domain set up and pointed at it.
What the £49 a month covers
Hosting, SSL, domain renewal, the enquiry system and its automatic replies, backups, monitoring, and unlimited changes to text and photographs. Changes are made within two working days of you asking, and there is no charge per change.
"Unlimited" means unlimited within reason: editing your words, prices, photographs and pages. It does not mean rebuilding the site into something different every month.
What is not included
- Online shops, payments or baskets
- Customer or member logins
- Booking systems, review requests and ongoing local SEO — these exist, but they are priced separately and are not part of the £49
- Google Ads or any paid advertising, including managing a budget
- Writing content you have not supplied the facts for — registration numbers, prices and photographs have to come from you
- Businesses outside the trades
Cancelling
There is no contract and no minimum term. Email [email protected] and the monthly stops at the end of that month. There is no notice period and no exit fee. The £199 build fee is not refundable once the site has been built, because the work has been done.
Your domain, and what happens if you leave
Your domain is registered in your name from the start. It is yours, and it stays yours whatever happens between us.
Everything on the site — your words, your photographs, your business name — is yours too. If you stop paying, the site comes offline; ask and the site files are exported to you so that you or anyone else can put them back up elsewhere.
The one thing that does not transfer is the enquiry system. It runs on shared infrastructure sitting behind every site here, so it cannot be handed over with the files. Whoever takes the site on would need to put their own form in its place.
What you are responsible for
- The accuracy of what you supply — particularly your Gas Safe, NICEIC, NAPIT or equivalent registration number. Nothing is ever invented on your behalf: if a detail is not supplied it is shown as a visibly marked gap until it is.
- Having the right to use the photographs you send. If they are your own jobs, that is straightforward. If they came from a supplier or a manufacturer, check first.
- Telling GrowthFrame when something changes — a number, a price, a service area — so the site does not go stale or, worse, wrong.
What GrowthFrame is responsible for
Building the site as described, keeping it online and maintained, and making changes within two working days of being asked. Hosting is on Cloudflare's network; no one can promise a website will never be unreachable, but if something breaks it gets fixed as a priority rather than in a queue.
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud — the law does not allow that and nor would it be reasonable. Beyond that, liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the twelve months before whatever went wrong. No promise is made about search rankings, enquiry volumes or sales, because nobody honest can promise those.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
If they change, the date at the top changes with them. Anything that materially affects an existing arrangement will be emailed to you rather than quietly edited onto the page.
